Tehillah Ensemble

Who We Are

We are a group of sixteen singers of Anabaptist background from around the United States. As an ensemble, we meet twice a year; once to rehearse and once for tour. The members sing voluntarily, and each is self-supported.

The Tehillah Ensemble was formed in the spring of 2018. Though our initial goal was to simply enjoy singing together, we found a special harmony among our eight members. We added four more singers, developed our repertoire, and went on tour. We have since expanded to sixteen members. We are preparing for our next tour in August 2023 through Virginia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Indiana (view itinerary).

Our Mission

Tehillah. Praise to our God. The name and foundation of our ensemble rest on the translation of this Hebrew word. Our goal, first of all, is to bring praise to God through our lives. As a music ensemble, we portray that through our music. Second, we desire that through our music our audience would fear and trust in the Lord (Psalm 40:3).
