Sunday morning found us bustling around EBI (Elnora Bible Institute), doing our utmost to get the bus loaded in a timely fashion. We then headed to Truth and Grace Mennonite Church where we joined them in worship. Immediately after the service, we enjoyed the subs that the Keith Bucher family provided for us.
The 3+ hour drive north to Peru, Indiana found a lot of us pouring over our music doing some last-minute memory prep. We were welcomed warmly by the Berean Dunkard Brethren church and enjoyed a delicious supper that they prepared for us.
The sanctuary was a beautiful space, and it was a blessing to have an attentive and responsive audience. There were moments of first-concert jitters, confusion, and dare I say panic!? It will be a cause for hashing on the bus! We were all ready to head to our hosts and lay our heads down after a long day and tight schedule.
