Sunday morning found most of us at Truth and Grace Mennonite Church in Elnora for the morning service. A few of the ensemble members were feeling a bit “under the weather,” and having a morning to rest was just what was needed!
Truth and Grace served us a delicious lunch, and we enjoyed the fellowship there!
Our final program of the tour was given at Mt. Olive Mennonite Church in Montgomery in the evening. It was a joy to sing our repertoire for one last time to our “home base” audience.
After the program, we congregated at Julian and Ruthie’s house for supper and the after-party. After supper, we sang a few pieces of our earlier years’ rep, recounted tour highlights, and talked about plans for Tehillah next year. Conversation flowed late into the night, and we finally said our goodbyes around 3:30.
Thank you for following along on our tour this year! Our concert theme was Christ, Our Hope. Our prayer for ourselves, as we go back to our homes, is that we would continue to “carry the glory” of the hope we have through Christ.
