Our second day of rehearsal started off with warm-ups. The morning flew by, and we soon headed to Juanita’s for lunch.
After lunch, we finished setting up the shell that Julian (a former long-time member) and Dan designed and built. The ensemble extends our sincere gratitude for the hours of planning and labor that went into this project! We spent the afternoon adjusting to the joy of hearing each other’s musical expressions even more.
After a delicious supper, we gathered for our dress rehearsal at ADC in Elnora. It was a delight to sing our repertoire before an audience. Our concert was punctuated by a few wrongly placed lyrics and pitches, a wayward son behind the stage, and some powerful musical moments.
