Tour 2025 | Day 3

Sunday morning dawned bright and warm. Some members found their way to various local churches for the morning. Our “call time” of 12:15 came amidst last-minute packing of tour supplies, and the general scurry was necessitated by 26 people enfolding their lives into 383 square feet of bus for a week!

After an eventful detour to avoid losing the underbelly of the bus over a railroad crossing, the group stopped at Merom Bluff Park and enjoyed their sack lunches, taking in the view of the river and the playground.

Norrell Lee’s steady hand at the wheel delivered us safely midafternoon to Arthur United Methodist Church in Illinois for our first official concert of the tour. We were welcomed in by local cafe owner Dan Kreider, who had prepared a coffee bar for our refreshment! After a short rehearsal, we enjoyed a hearty meal provided by Corey’s family before the evening’s performance.

Only a few days left to give toward funding our next album! We invite you to contribute here, and we are so grateful for your support of our music ministry.
